Time's been moving fast since the stray cinema gig. Everyone there enjoyed it and it was a pleasure for shakinda to work with Michelle, dan, aka, anathesia associates, Hess is more and Eve black eve white. A few connections made will hopefully see a little more shakinda in shoreditch...

Looking forward, shakinda will begin a new relationship with the belfast art college, providing visuals in their legendary and remodelled union. A location famous for its fresh creative talent, and previous haunt of F visuals the original belfast vj.

Just confimed is also news that shakinda will play at Cross Over of Senses at Ministry of Sound London, on October 13th. This is a very special night which sees the club transformed into one of the most immersive visual envirnoments club nights in the world. Tickets and more info...

Shakinda has recently been booked for Chris Tomlin's support; Jonny Parks and Blue Tree. The arena holds up to 8,500 and would be the biggest capacity to experience shakinda live montion graphics to date. Working with the songwriters and some previously unreleased material will help create a unique and exciting show incorporating the orignal creative impluses that insipired each track. A new and exciting night for shakinda will be vjing along side Hess is More at the Stray Cinema's london screening on the 21st of August.

Stray Cinema is an open source film. It is an experiment that combines filmmaking with online information sharing. They shot a film a while ago and put the raw footage on their website, this night will see the screening of five of the best two minute segments from round the world.

Just got confirmation that Shakinda will provide a vj mix for the next edition of the legendary Pete Tong's video podcast the "Tong cast". Its due to go out next Saturday and with over 60,000 subscribers will be a perfect way to let a few more people experience shakidna live motion graphics...

There are also a few rumours flying around about a new Saturday night residency in Belfast but until everythings confirmed we'll keep it hush hush, except to say its a very exciting prospect...

Above is my entry to the cargo intel dj/vj battle, its for a final battle in the london club at the end of the month, there were some good other entries but so we'll have to see.

Im now booked for Summer Maddness a big festival on the outskirts of Belfast witha cool spiritual slant. Im doing a downtempo breaks set with my man Navara.

Next Tuesday is Tekumah presents... convulsion, with retro gaming consoles, its gonna be one not to miss...

Back in Belfast and enjoying the vibe, a good firend Navara and I have set up a monthly in Mono, called Tekumah.

Its a night based around community and interaction, with a creative setup and naturally a visuals bias. We launched with BCee owner of ibiza based spearhead records and all had a great night.

We are hoping to keep it fresh so if any vjs, film makers etc want to be involved hit me up

after playing the UMF Collective stage at the main festival I went on with VJ OMNI to the official after party at area 51 and played back 2 back in the Drum and Bass room. It was a great day / night, despite the rather tempremental bass bins in the club ;)

I will be playing at earthdance's miambient in the standard hotel, along with rara avis. its friday night 10 till 12 so if you in town come on down and check it out.
