Vj Shakinda is Irelands hotest visual talent. Chosen to VJ when the world's number one Dj Armin van Buuren came to Belfast, and resident at Irelands biggest Dance Music Festival Planet Love.

His appeal is now growing internationally with visuals are featured weekly on Pete Tong's Podcast, he has been recognised by Uk broadcaster Channel 4 as up and coming talent, trusted by global fashion label Miss Sixty to perform their fashion shows and one of only a handful of vjs to have clips featured on Pioneer's Dj Sounds site. Combine that with regular performances at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Ministry of Sound London, Drop Beats Not Bombs Birmingham and a residency at Belfast's infamous Art College all after less than three years in the business and we see a true star in the making.

With a background in Computer science with image and multi-media, Shakinda has developed a style which uses complex technological systems, but still manages to keep the focus on connecting with clubbers on the dance floor. He will mash up video using Laptops and Wiimotes before dropping one of his trademark live 3D environments, which groove along to the beat, lifting his performance to the next level.

His commitment to the scene has led him to establishing the first Vj collective in Belfast and becoming the worlds leader in Quartz Composer video tuition, as well as giving workshops regularly in Ireland and overseas. He is passionate about all forms of creativity and has performed with orchestras, bands, dance groups and individual artists.s
